A Return to Self-Trust
For a long time, I moved through life guided by stories I hadn’t consciously chosen.
Like many of us, I absorbed expectations, assumptions, and labels so early on that they simply felt like truth. I accepted them because they were familiar, and because they were repeated often enough that I stopped questioning them.
My path wasn’t defined by a single dramatic turning point. Instead, it was a slow, quiet unraveling of what no longer fit. Through different experiences, relationships, setbacks, and moments of quiet clarity, I began to see the gap between the life I was living and the truth I felt beneath the surface.
Meaningful growth didn’t happen by forcing myself to change. It began the moment I started to question the labels I had accepted, and allowed myself to recognize what was actually shaping my choices.
